Dan + Shay play wedding song for ‘The Voice’ contestant and her fiancé

This contestant on “The Voice” was gifted an extra special moment after her audition.

After Zoe Levert sang “Better Man” written by Taylor Swift for her audition, she received one chair turn from coach John Legend. Despite not getting a turn from coach team Dan + Shay, she told the duo she was a huge fan.

The duo then invited Levert’s fiancé, Ryan, up to the stage.

“We got to have a moment here,” Shay Mooney said. “Can we sing a little bit of that song for you guys right now?”

The group then sang the first verse of their song to the couple as they slow danced on “The Voice” stage. Fellow coach Chance The Rapper recorded the performance on his phone while the audience applauded.

“It’s ok that you didn’t pick us because we didn’t turn around but you’re in good hands,” the group added as a lyric to the song.

Levert officially joined as a Team Legend member, moving on to the next round of the show, battle rounds.

“The Voice” will air every Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. Eastern on NBC. For those without cable, it can also be streamed on platforms like Peacock and FuboTV. Both platforms offer a free trial for those interested in signing up for a membership.
