Kanye West reveals daughter North is creating her first music video for his new album featuring her basketball team, a Lamborghini and Nobu restaurant

Kanye West is getting a little help from his daughter North on his upcoming album.

The 46-year-old rapper took to his Instagram on Wednesday to share a visual treatment for a music video accompanying his new studio collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures.

The treatment appears to be spearheaded by his 10-year-old prodigy, who debuted her rapping skills last month during a listening party for the album.

‘Talking video treatment by your bestie, ms ms westie,’ Kanye captioned the snap, which featured a wall of images including athletes, sports cars and, of course, vultures.

In an accompanying clip, North could be heard describing her adorable vision for the music video while highlighting the different photos on the wall.

‘I’m in my Lamborghini driving over to basketball practice, driving in the front seat just by myself…. I do some basketball practice, and then it’s all my friends in Vultures merch with one vulture flying around,’ North begins.

She proceeds to go over the song lyrics, illustrating how they align with scenes such as dining at Nobu Malibu, fending off paparazzi, and more.

It comes as no surprise that North is creating her own music video for the album, considering she is featured in one of the songs from it.

At the listening party in Miami, she gave a tease of her rapping skills by lip-syncing along to her verse in the song You Don’t Want (North Interlude).

‘I love it here. We’re going to take over the year. It’s your bestie. Miss, Miss Westie. Don’t try to test me, it’s gonna get messy. It’s gonna get messy. Just, just bless me’, she mimed while Ye looked on proudly.

Fans took to X – formerly known as Twitter – after the clip began to circulate on social media, with some hailing Kanye’s daughter as a ‘musical genius’.

Tweets included: ‘north west rap way better than me and I’m honestly not mad’ and ‘North West the new queen of rap I fear…’

‘North west is the REAL princess of rap’ and ‘North West rap like Adonis’.

The pre-teen previously spoke about her career ambitions in an interview with i-D.

She said: ‘Well, when I was seven, I wanted to be a boxer. But now I don’t want to be a boxer. I’m going to do art on the side.

‘When I’m, like, thirteen, I want to walk dogs, to make money to buy art supplies, because everything around here is so expensive. So a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell.’

Vultures is currently slated to arrive on Feb. 9.
